Bhetki Paturi (Steamed Bhetki Fish Mustard Paste)

Bhetki Paturi is one of the most elegant and iconic dishes of Bengali cuisine. Tender pieces of bhetki fish are marinated in a rich paste of mustard seeds, green chilies, mustard oil, and subtle spices, then carefully wrapped in banana leaves and gently steamed.

ভেটকি পাতুরি বাঙালি রান্নার এক অনন্য ও অভিজাত পদ। এখানে ভেটকি মাছের টুকরো সর্ষে বাটা, কাঁচা লঙ্কা, সর্ষের তেল ও অল্প মশলায় মাখিয়ে কলা পাতায় মুড়ে ধীরে ধীরে ভাপে রান্না করা হয়।
